Chesterfield Manor Apartments

"I have been living at Chesterfield Manor now for three years, and I can say this is the best apartment complex that I have ever lived in, and I have lived in quite a few. The negative comments about our manager (Cindy) who has been the manager for years, has not been what my interaction with her has been - she is the best! She answers the phone most times when I have called the office, and if I must leave a message, she returns the call quickly. She is not the prissy type - she wears her jeans and hardhat (well not literally) and you can find her walking across the lot taking care of business. If I have a maintenance request, and it is something minor, she comes right over and do it herself. Cindy and our maintenance crew are the absolute best! I will say this, if you are the type of person that wants everything tidy in your apartment before letting anyone in, I suggest you tidy up before you make a maintenance request because they are liable to be at your door within a matter of minutes. Just recently, I had a maintenance emergency at 6:17 a.m. Cindy returned my call at 6:32 a.m. She was in my apartment a little after 7:00 a.m. and had a maintenance personnel with her shortly after that, and she does not even start her regular workday until 8:00 a.m. I have the 2 bedrooms, 2 bath apartment and what you see in the virtual tour of the apartment on the website is exactly how it looks – it is very spacious. It is quiet here and sometimes people just take walks around the parking lot for exercise. We do not have all the amenities (i.e. resident club house, fitness center, swimming pools), but we do not pay like we have them either. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants quiet, serene living. Simply love it!"

"the manager there is very rude and is very disrespectful to her tenants. she talks about her employees behind their back, and at times used inappropriate language when something doesn't go her way . I was never late in paying my rent and never caused any problems. there was and probably still is a black mold problem that needs to be taken care of, and not being told it is a moisture problem. we moved on and glad we no longer live there and have to listen to her run her mouth. she doesn't care what she says to the tenants that pay rent to live there and have to be on edge all the time. she needs to be fired from her job and learn to have respect for people. She is not happy about herself and a very unpleasant person to deal with."

"I lived in The Chesterfield Manor Apartment twice; from 2006-2010, and again in 2015-2017. Both times I had an excellent experience. The apartments are nice, roomy and kept like new. The management and maintenance personnel, are professionals and always on top of everything concerning the buildings. The location is perfect. You are 5 minutes in either direction from shopping malls, restaurant's, entertainment, and other places. This makes it an idea spot to live, the rent is extremely reasonable considering the area and prime location."

"I would recommend Chesterfield Manor Apartments to anyone and have recently recommended it to close friends who were thinking of moving. I've lived here for almost two years now. Although the complex is an older complex, my apartment was brand new when I moved in and very updated. The property manager, Cindy, has been very prompt in replying to any questions I've had or requests for maintenance and has gone above and beyond what you'd expect for service. The maintenance crew has done an excellent job and when they've worked on my apartment (even when I've not been home) the only way I've even known they were there is that the work was completed. They've come in, done their work, cleaned up behind themselves, and left my apartment just as they found it. I've had opportunities to move to other complexes and locations in the last two years and have chosen to stay here because the neighborhood is quiet and the apartment and complex are well maintained by a great landlord and on-site property manager."
