"The apartments are very basic and don't have any updated features. Each apartment building has a nasty basement with a washer and dryer in it and they don't work well. For some reason, the closets smell bad and the apartment had a weird smell the first time I walked in. Thought I could get it to go away, but it stayed. Also, the doors and windows do not seal right and I always had bug problems in the summer. When the heat turned on, there was a really, really loud rattling noise that woke me up all throughout the night. To go along with this, you can't adjust the heat setting since it is a boiler system without an individual thermostat, so I was always burning up and couldn't sleep without the windows open in the winter. I would lock my mailbox, make sure it was locked, and the next day when I had mail it would be unlocked, so I definitely got mail stolen from me often. They claim that they get on people for being too loud, but people were obnoxiously loud with music and were never called out. I would have called the landlords during all of that, but they are extremely hard to get ahold of. They don't respond to calls or texts and it gets really frustrating when they leave you in your own. Also, I cleaned my apartment very well when I moved out (they even put a note saying it was really clean), and they still took a lot of money off of my security deposit. Overall, very disappointed with my time at these apartments."
"I miss this my old apartment here. Gerry was a great landlord, and was always responsive when my unit needed maintenance. He went so far as to comp a hotel stay when there was work going on inside the unit! Quaint, quiet units, and nature walks right up to your door. I would honestly go back if I could."
"I loved living there. Quiet. Bike path in the back for my girlfriend and I to ride. Best place for the price. Gerry might talk your head off but great guy."
