Thornridge Apartments

"My brother and i went to the office to talk to someone about possibly getting an apartment. The office is super nice and clean and the staff is amazing. We had the pleasure of working with Indi, she was very very nice. She answered every question we had and was very informative when showing us the apartment we were interested in. Definitely a very clean and nice complex of apartments and we are very excited for the chance of moving in here."

"When I lived there 12 years ago, I would have given it five stars. But today, I would give it a negative 5. My son has lived there for three years without any issues with the apartment and has paid his rent on time. However, a person moved into a lower-level apartment the last 6 months and their life has become a nightmare. They have a two-year-old son and a four-year-old daughter, and their son is receiving chemotherapy, which means they have been staying at home more often because of his weakened immunity. Understandably, the children are a little restless. Unfortunately, they have been receiving constant noise complaints from the person living below them stating that there is thumping noises. They have offered to move to a lower-level apartment, but all the complex can offer is for them to pay a hefty fee and settle for fewer accommodations. They have also said they would move completely, but the complex said they couldn't waive the fee to break the lease. They have purchased rugs and mats to muffle the noise of their children playing, and they have tried taking them to the family to avoid getting more noise complaints. But nothing has worked, they have had to pay $90 for noise complaints that were after 9 a.m. before 10 p.m. Which due to their circumstances they are a one income family and very hard on them. The office staff seemed to have no empathy for their situation. If you have children, I would not recommend living in this place as it is not family oriented at all."

"An honest review: I've rented here for 3 years, these are very decent apartments to rent for a reasonable price. One thing that stands out is maintenance is always responsive as well as the leasing agents--many of which are kind and always helpful. I did experience bees around my deck (was not able to open my window due to this, and occasionally there would be an ear wig out of nowhere maybe once every 3months). Other than this, I enjoyed my time at Thornridge and would recommend them. Be sure to take photos of your place before you move your things in and keep them until move out. Make sure to do a walk around with the leasing staff before move out so you can ensure your deposit is refunded."

"Maintenance was timely in responding to the maintenance request. Friendly upon entering, and even wore paper slippers to help clean my floors. Figured out the problem quickly and even offered to fix a breaking toilet seat. Returned quickly with parts needed and fixed it in a promptly manner. Would recommend!"

"I have lived here for a LONG time and have many good things to say. It's safe, quiet, well maintained, and I love my apt. The reason for my review today is Alex, a maintenance employee. He was here a couple days ago with a small list of things to fix. The main one was my freezer. He went WAY above and beyond. He got it fixed, came back TWO times that day to check on things and did a great job cleaning up. He took great pride in his work. He was pleasant and friendly the whole time he was here. Maintenance has always been wonderful here and I just wanted to give Alex a shout out for a great job!"
