Kyle provided me with a detailed map of the lake, and I had a wonderful time. Parking is easy. A bonus for anyone who wants a shady picnic before or after boating, many picnic tables and grills are directly next door beneath huge shade trees."
"Thank you Gun Lake Marina - I have been taking my boat there for 8 years. This past summer I had an issue with the boat. The service team was kind enough to take a look at it on short notice. Much to my surprise they were able to resolve the issue and taught me a few things about the board I did not have knowledge of. Great Job!!!!"
"We rented a very nice 14-seater pontoon for three days over the 4th of July and our wedding weekend (Sat-Mon). Unfortunately, we had a family emergency on Sun and had to return the pontoon that evening. We asked about the possibility of getting a refund for the third day or even possibly getting a discount next time around and the staff said they would speak to a manager and they would get back to us. We rang 7 times in the next week and never once got to speak to a manager to see the issue through (s/he was on vacation, not working, etc.). While we admit the pontoon and staff we dealt with were very nice, and completely understand it was our emergency, we think the least that could have been done would be to see the issue through and let us know of why we weren't contacted and/or perhaps info about the policies in place. We think that's just common courtesy."
"The staff were great! The boats are nice, but they ones we (we had 2, 1 for about 3 days but the second day we had it we weren't able to use it because it was sinking so they took it to maintenance, and one for a day) and could have used some TLC. The only problem we had was with the first boat and that it was sinking, I feel like the situation could have been resolved better but otherwise the staff was nice and we had a good time!"
"Staff is wonderful! We had a group of 7 and rented a pontoon for 4 hours. When we got there, they gave us a new boat to use. I have zero boat experience, the staff was very informative and helpful showing me how to operate boat. Good prices and good people. Would definitely recommend!"
