"In the fall, my family rented four units. All four units had carpets that were gross. It appeared that the carpets were not cleaned between seasons or in a long time. Everyone was afraid to take shoes off. All of them said the view of the lake was nice, but needed updating. Three out of four units smelled like either smoke, pets or mold. It was a very windy day and screen doors were very cheaply blowing around. Great view, but definitely needs major updating."

"I stayed with family for funeral. Bad place DONT STAY. 1. wind blew back screen door and BROKE. VERY CHEAP!! 2. Then they gave bad review to the one who rented because of THIER Cheap quality. 3. Shaggy carpet very Stained and dirty. Tried to clean, dirt came up, but lots of big stains. 3. Beds not comfortable. 4. Room they call bedroom is really just a big clost and probably a fire code violation. Not worth staying at place who gives bad reviews as a result of THIER poor maintainance!! Also other family members also rent 3 other units Same observation as me. Poor maintainance, needs serious updating and poor communication with owners. NO ONE wanted to leave a bad review because this is someone's livelyhood...but giving the gentleman, the sibling of the deceased a bad review for thier poor maintainance is UNACCEPTABLE!! The other family members WILL be posting thier reviews!!!"

"The place was very clean and tidy. They had extras of anything you might have forgotten so no worries there! The main living area is extremely spacious and has a wonderful waterfront view! Located just across the street from three great restaurants/bars. Would highly recommend!"

"Took the family up for the weekend. A great place to stay. Lovely accommodations, with a prime location. Took the pontoon out to a popular sandbar and set up our card table to play euchre and hang out with the locals. Great launching pad for day trips to Traverse City and West Branch. Can't wait to stay again."
