"I have lived here for approximately 5 years, the former Landlords sold it to new people and the whole thing took a downhill spiral from word go. There was a huge kerfuffle at the beginning with some illegal leases and (I’m gonna try to keep this g-rated) straight up harassment by the new landlord. There were pest control issues they inherited, and when they took over they completely stopped keeping it contained although tenants brought it to their attention on multiple occasions. Now they are trying to pin it as the tenants fault although it was due to their gross negligence. During “inspections” they alter the working status of appliances and even though someone had seen them messing with it, and previously the appliance worked, they lie right to you about even going near said appliance. Refuse to fix said appliance as well, only giving minor solutions to a big problem. Also read as, they broke my stove and gave me a hot plate. Take pictures without permission, no interest in tenants rights, God complex, very rude, disrespectful, facetious, non trustworthy, you name it, that they are. Do not rent. Would not suggest it. They are going to try to dispute this, so if you really want to know, go door to door and ask every single tenant that lives here, and every professional at United Way, the former Maintenance man, all peer workers at CWN, all the section 8 workers at TIPP of the Mitt, and by now, maybe most of the people that live here in Manistee."
