"Simply put thier electrical tech is "the man". Problems -dash was reading reduced voltage from what alternator was putting out. -autostart would shut off in night -intermittent SCR faults with threat of derate. -intermittent automatic transmission faults. They did standard battery and alternator tests and showed no issues. After pressing the idea of how the above symptoms where likely relevant, they put a thier electrical tech on the job where he asked a series of logical questions that pointed his train of thought to the battery box. He did what looked like testing the batteries, but was test continuity of the jumper cables between the batteries. He found it to be a kinked or slightly broken wire within one of the jumper cables. Simple fix, simple part, but not a simple diagnosis. That's why two prior shops ignored it. Thanks to the tech and the counter lady. The counter lady actually started listening to the details of the problem after basic battery and alternator check was done. She then brought the issue up to thier electrical techs and he listened."
"this simple fix took them just about 7 hours to complete the only saving grace was the staff in the service office was decent to deal with i would have my truck towed next to back home before I deal with them or to another local company."
