"So my wife an I a preparing for a weekend in DC. I'm a golfer, so the PGA store attracted my attention. The woman behind the counter looked so disinterested I thought I'd chat her up. "You surrreee seem like you don't wanna be here" I said. Her reply, which took a while was a simple, "who me?" (my wife in the back, no one else in the store). I finally got an "uhhh. I'm ok." Never a smile, never a greeting. So look, airport stores are way over-priced anyway, so a purchase at the PGA is probably one made out of necessity for most. Hearing "Hello, welcome to our store" would have been nice."
"Came by looking for women's dress pants on a tight layover in October and this place and the cashier on shift came in clutch. The pants I got are now my favorite work slacks, and if I ever get into golf I imagine these pants will work out great."
