"Peaceful with a wonderful walking dirt path. We found a variety of wild mushrooms. The river is very close to parts of the trail with shallow areas to walk through. Dogs are welcome."

"Expansive lot of land with the North Country Trail stretching throughout. Many smaller foot trails that are unmapped as well. Access to the Rogue River, which can be waded and swam in, nice and sandy/silty bottom at most spots. One of the most secluded piece of woods around; pet friendly in most spots. Once you're far enough back your chance of encountering another human is very low. Near the roads, however, many people target shoot (often quite negligently). MOSQUITOES ARE BAD as the entire area is essentially a wetland."

"Love this hunting area, fishing is good as well. Decent squirrel hunting. Good deer hunting (bow season) rifle season this area gets a lot of pressure. Bow season I didn't see one person. 2 days before rifle season there were 7 blinds around my stand. There are some decent hiking trails as well throughout the area and it's a beautiful walk in the fall. (Wear orange though)."

"This SGA sees a lot of use and it shows. Lots of trash and abuse by the roads but like most places it improves considerably if you're willing or able to walk a few hundred yards off the road."
