"We had a great time renting with Greg. We've been renting with them a few times a year for the past 4 or 5 years. The staff is very knowledgeable and will let you know the best place to go. Its a great time for younger kids and first time kayakers. Nothing too difficult, and the staff will tell you everything you need to know. We took out 4 kids who've never kayaked before (7-13yo) and they did great. Its a must do activity in Pentwater."

"Amazing!!! Gregg and Bonny were so so helpful in getting us set up and directions and then when the weather changed they met us half way to give us the option to keep going or stop. They are so friendly and it was the absolute best option for our bachelorette party. We had varied levels of skills and it worked perfectly for everyone. The weather was amazing and the river was gorgeous. We saw herons, fish, and a muskrat! I will totally use them again if we decide to go up to Pentwater for anything and I recommend them wholeheartedly!!"

"My wife and I wanted to go kayaking for the first time, and found Pentwater Outfitters. And we're glad we did! The staff was very friendly, chill and laid back, and knowledgeable as well. We rented two kayaks for half a day, and it was well worth the price. Which includes them dropping off all the gear, and picking it up when we we're done. And we had the choice to be done whenever we wanted. There was no rush at all. The kayaking itself was an amazing experience. Peaceful, and picturesque views of the river and forest, to include the occasional sightings of Bald Eagles and other various species of birds. The only sound we heard was the surrounding wildlife and trees blowing in the wind. We first paddled the Pentwater River north branch about a half a mile passed highway 31, turned around and paddled the south branch up to the sandy bend. Turned around again and paddled up to Long Bridge Road where the river meets Pentwater Lake, before we were done and headed back to the drop off point. With that said, we had an amazing experience with Pentwater Outfitters, and would recommend them to anyone!"
