"This was a beautiful short hike. The trails are well marked and there are several nice rest benches. Very flat terrain and easy to navigate."

"Great trail for a 1 hour walk. Clean, with maps throughout trail. Many birds, turtles, flowers and nice views. Park staff make patrols regularly on bikes. Some parking at beginning of the trail"

"Nice, easy trail. Not a lot of shade, however, so if it's sunny and warm, it will get hot. (There's shade for the first ~1/4 mile and then very little.) Plenty of bugs too, including biting flies. Several types of warblers, singing their hearts out in midsummer."

"This is one of the most beautiful trails I have been to in Michigan. I hiked it at the beginning of April so there was still snow and no bugs. The trails were well marked, although I think the map is not quite the scale. After hiking out to the main loop, you will have the beautiful scenery of small ponds, streams, and marshes on both sides of you for the entirety of the loop. They also have several boardwalks and bridges which are in fairly good condition. Enjoy your hike!"

"Great trail as it allows you to walk a short or long hike. Trail is completely flat without any hills or elevation."
