"Nice clean little park area. Little Traverse Bay is stunning with the giant rocks bordering it. Took a relaxing walk on the pier with docked boats on one side and the expansive bay on the other. A unique sculpture added a classy touch. I was impressed by the clock tower with a bell hanging in its center. The drive down Bayfront Drive was peaceful as it looped me back around to spot a cute waterfall."
"One of my favorite parks! It's a pretty good size park (25 acres) along the lake and has lots of different facilities and amenities. You can spend a whole day here. The city marina is part of the park. There is a boat launch too. The history museum is there. Even the city hall is part of the park. My favorite place in the park is the clock tower area. Lots of benches along the walkway heading out to the tower. You can then further walk all the way out to the pavilion at the end of the pier. Near the clock tower there is also a medium-size playground. It has two separate areas for young and older kids, each with a play structure of its own. There is a baseball field and a cafe near there. At the west end of the park (not all the way out to Bayfront Park West), there is an open area and another pavilion with picnic tables and grills. Closer to the east end, there is a kid's fishing pond, a waterfall and stairs connecting to the Sunset Park above. There are trails all through the park. I saw many people with dogs the whole time."
