"The Soldier Lake camp grounds were very nice, clean sites with plenty of space, most trailing right down to the water. Lots of places of interest within a short drive. Simple bathrooms and clean water within a short walk, each site has a fire ring with a grill rack on a lever, and a sturdy picnic table with wheel chair access on one end."

"This forest is beautiful even in the summertime. The temperature was fairly cool in the low 40s overnight but warmed up into a nice comfortable 60s for my hike. I went in July and it was a really nice experience to hike around Grand Isle. The people in the area in the rangers associated with the forest were very nice."
