"I always like to tell a story of my out-of-town trips. In the background pictured a bridge. Two kayakers were traveling under the bridge, as I was going over the top. So I went home and told people I ran over two kayakers. My wife caught it right away. One thing interesting is that they have a disc golf course within the park. I find that interesting because I know a person or two that does that for fun and recreation. They have a huge playground area for the kiddos. They also have pit toilets and portable toilets that get maintained regularly. I have seen dogs in the park. I don't know the particulars of that."
"What a lovely little park for a picnic or a walk! Many of the trees have signs telling you what they are, the path is easy going and clear, and there's plenty of parking and lakeside views."
"One of my most favorite places to swim in the upper peninsula! It has such a clean and well taken care of beach along with lifeguards that are on duty and a wonderful changing and showering off facility right off the beach, I wish I lived closer so I could go there more often! They also have a very well and moderately challenging frisbee course and a wonderful wooden park, this is a favorite palace among my whole family since there is something for everyone!"
