"We have had WOW for years without out issues until the last 6 months. Now it continuously goes out multiple times throughout the day and night. Which is not good when you depend on it for work. We have had multiple technicians out replacing the box (3 times), they replaced the wire to the house and the connectors. Still no luck. Come to find out our neighbors are experiencing the same issue, but WOW will not check the lines. Only thinking it is something with the box or house. Since so many people in the same neighborhood are experiencing the same thing further investigation needs to be done. You would think since they are a communications company they would have tools to analyze loss signals like DTE does for power outages. So good luck! Not recommending them right now."

"My internet cost was jacked up to $97 for 100 Mbps. Unbelievable, Xfinity offers 2 Mbps for $40 for a 12 months commitment, an absolute no brainer! Besides the customer service was very rude when I disconnecting my service. Again, they disconnect the service immediately but still responsible for paying for the whole monthly term. I have never seen anything like this, all providers would prorate the bill. Besides the attitude of the representative was very rude! First of all I can’t understand the representative, hardly speaks English. WOW could to better, but definitely lost a customer forever. Very unprofessional customer service and mediocre service. They don’t even deserve a single star!"

"I would give them 0 star if possible. They promised me $65.99 per month for internet service and a $200 gift card after 3 months. However, from the first month, they charged me $110. Each time I called to rectify it, they only fixed it once my payment was late. This pattern continued for the next two months, with repeated assurances that changes would reflect in my account and next bill will be correct amount but never happened.They ultimately claimed I didn’t qualify for the gift card due to my late payments. It seems like they're misleading customers with promises of gift cards for on-time payments while consistently overcharging and delaying bill corrections until late fees are incurred."

"Do not use! Worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. I closed my account in June and I have still been getting billed for service past when I closed my account after moving out of my house. They are also claiming there is outstanding equipment that I am being charged for. After calling customer service I was told to wait for a final updated bill as there was a delay in equipment returns and it may not have been updated. After being told that I received a collection notice in the mail for the unpaid total I called customer service and explained the issue. After being on the phone for an hour and being transferred to a supervisor I was finally told that all of my equipment had in fact been received and there was an error for my final bill. I paid the corrected amount and asked that they contact the collection agency and explain that it was a mistake on Wow’s end. I was told this could take several business days and therefore I asked to be called with an update to receive a phone call with an update. Never got a call back from them and now I have a collection filed on my credit report. This should be considered a fraudulent business. Looked online and found several stories where other people reported being billed for equipment they had returned after closing their account."

"Absolutely horrible. This happens every day and sometimes multiple times a day. Never once had an internet service so horrible and when you call you either get hung up on or on hold for over an hour and no fix to the problem unless you want to pay for a technician to come out and even then it doesn’t fix anything. Crooks. I am going to start tracking the amount of time my service is out and figure out cost per day and start subtracting when services are not received from the bill. I’m not going to pay for service I don’t receive when I am supposed to receive it 24/7/365"
