"Worst beef shawarma I ever had. My go to place is Mr. Kabob, but I thought I would try someplace closer to my home. The pita was stale and the beef was not fresh. It very tough-- I just kept chewing and chewing, and chewing. The lady behind the food counter needs a class in customer service. I called to let her know how I felt (and that I didn't want anything), but she had no interest in hearing what I had to say. The lady behind the liquor/grocery area was very nice and helpful. I would not go back for food there again. I will continue going to Mr. Kabob."
"i DO NOT recommend buying this monstrosity that they call "chicken shawarma" $7.99. The chicken tasted dry and old and they didnt even cook it with the oil and spices like other places usually do. They insisted that they are only putting 5 things MAX in each sandwitch(and now you see the work ethic from these people) Now I know its from a liquor store so what do I expect? I expect to pay for quality food when im being charged quality prices. See I spent my $8 at the wrong place cuz if I woulda went to Bucharest or any other decent place with that, you would get a MUCH MUCH better sandwitch for the money. The other reviews on here are fake and outdated .I woulda trashed it if i didnt pay good money for it and if i wasnt already starving. Liquor is over priced too. GO ELSEWHERE"
"Visited here multiple times this month and have been impressed every time. The shawarma is fantastic. Falafel is some the best I’ve tasted around metro Detroit. They’re very fast & friendly too. Also, there’s a small grab & go section with hummus, grape leaves, & other stuff they make in house."
"Great customer service delivered in a very welcoming environment! Very disappointed with the quality of ordered swarma. Paid for 2 chicken shwarma. The wheat pita bread was dry and stale. The chicken and condiments were exceedingly tasteless. Not trying to slam this business. The food just didn't appeal to my husband and I."
