"Finally a GREAT sandwich place in my area. I am sorry if that hurt other sandwich places, I am not saying you are bad, I am just saying this place is so worth it. You can get a sandwich on a soft or hard roll. I say hard roll because it just reminds me of that classic Italian style sandwich. The place is quick and respectful. You get in, you get out. Give them a little time because they get packed and are using high quality ingredients. The picture shows me enjoying a sandwich called, THE MIA. Whipped ricotta, provolone, munster, apricot jam and arugula. They also let me add salami to it. SO GOOD. I have also had THE CARMELLA and the BIG MELON (was only during the Howell Melon Festival). All great and filling. You can tell they only use the best ingredients. The staff is very nice and makes sure you are fed. GO GET A SANDWICH!"

"I honestly cannot believe some of these negative reviews! This is a relatively new sandwich shop that’s opened up in our little community. This is a SMALL BUSINESS, not someone who mass produces junk food to sell to you for $8. This place has fresh, good tasting, high quality products and that is going to be expensive, especially since the cost of ingredients has gone up significantly (at no fault of this business). Every time you walk into this establishment, the staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, quick with their service, and PLEASANT. The people who put that much effort into making your food and being courteous to you, should be paid a livable wage.. which means you, as the consumer, will have to pay that cost when buying their sandwiches! Leaving a nasty, negative review on Google to try and lower their ratings when all you’re offended by is the cost of a sandwich is abhorrent! The sandwiches from this place taste amazing. Are they a little pricier than say, McDonalds? Yes. Is it worth the cost? Also YES. The sodas are great, the business accepts constructive feedback from the community (which is different from slanderous or dishonest reviews for Google), and these people deserve to be able to make a living!"

"A fantastic family run sandwich shop specializing in gourmet Italian sandwiches,Italian sodas and Gelato. Each sandwich is made to order and the staff is super friendly. They offer about 12 different sandwiches served on Artisan bread. A Gluten Free option is available. I ordered The Joe which had Pepperoni,Spicey Capicola,Prosciutto,Sun Dried Tomato cream,sliced mozzarella and a spring mix. Absolutely fantastic! Fresh,flavorful and lots of meat. My daughter's family is friends with the owner and they even made a gourmet soda just for me..the Coco Papa which was Coke,Chocolate syrup and Cherry syrup..delicious. brought back memories of my childhood! THANK YOU! When in Historic Downtown Howell after shopping in the quant shops,stop in and give The Crunchy Pickle a try...you will not be disappointed! I can't wait to try another sandwich!"

"Delicious, fresh sandwiches with a fun twist on soda! Loving this location in downtown. Easy to walk to, lots of parking or call ahead with an order. I’ve eaten here several times and keep coming back. The whipped ricotta is awesome. Friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend. I got The Michael sandwich and Mean Girl soda."

"Oh my god these are seriously the best sandwiches & drinks! The sandwiches are made with some of the freshest ingredients out there. The prosciutto is drool worthy!!! The drinks are top tier, and beautiful. It doesn’t hurt that the owner, Dena, and the rest of her team are just the greatest humans. They’re always so kind when I come in and truly make these sandwiches with care. It’s not just thrown together, they actually listen. They also change gloves regularly and wipe down the area if you have an allergy. They offer sugar free options on drinks and gluten free bread choices as well! The Crunchy Pickle is the BEST addition to the Howell Downtown and I’m so glad they’re here. They love their community and it SHOWS. Thank you for being here!!!"
