"The pizza from here is mediocre at best. All dough and scant on the toppings. With B.C. pizza in town and Hart Pizza in town why would someone want this so-so not really bad yet not really good pizza?? Hart has better options, another good choice would be Pizza factory in Shelby a 10 minute drive from Hart. Did the new owners of the party store change to less toppings to make more profit? Update a week later, although I still like other pizza from other places, the owners of Dave's are a class act, what a gracious response to me! I am very impressed with the response and could learn much from Dave's owners on how to treat other people, and for me, a lesson I needed to learn!"

"I love Dave's for their fried food selections. Their pizza crust is to thick and doughy. I am not sure if they have different crust styles, but I have only seen the thick crust either being made, coming out of the oven or in the turnstyle. The staff is not very friendly and rather stuck up and generally has no knowledge of the food they make. I asked what what inside the pizza puffs and the employee was very rude and told me she had no idea and that I should assume it's just pizza toppings. I am allergic to onion, so not knowing this information is vital. They have very well stocked beer, liquor and pop inventory. I will make the drive all the way from Rothbury for their fried chicken, as it is some of the best gas station chicken I have had. I am only giving 2 stars mainly because of the terrible customer service. Oh, and one more thing, order your food fresh, even if they have it in the hot case, i have gotten food many times from the hot case that had sat in there for to long and was only lukewarm and rubbery. PS. The wings/hotwings are VERY good when ordered fresh, just a little on the expensive side unless you get them on the day they are on special for $.50 each."

"6/2019- Everything has improved. The pizza and other hot food they make. Plus, they offer more stuff and still deliver. Very good! 6/2018-I have had it where they made the mistake when we ordered pizza, but we were held responsible. Its not our fault the lady who took the order and got pushy and not heard things correctly nor confirm the information."
