"This place is awesome for game lovers! It's a fun spot to hangout and try new games with friends. There is a huge wall of different games to try (board games, card games, and more). There is a selection of new games to purchase if you'd like. There are a lot of different and unique canned beers available. If you're looking for a fun way to spend a few hours, try House Rules Lounge!"
"Very awesome and very BUSY. I highly recommend this place in general but recommend that you come during the off hours. Friday and Saturday nights are a blast but are busy. Not large enough (or intended for) multiple big families or children but absolutely perfect for board gaming groups - do call ahead if you're planning to play on a Friday or Saturday night. Staff are awesome. Drink selection is also awesome. And the location is perfect. The only criticism I can make is that the place is almost too popular for it's size. They could take over the lease on their neighbor's property and still pack it to capacity on weekend evenings pretty easily."
"Super friendly, welcoming staff who will recommend games based on your party size and interests … a great way to try new board games. Amazing beverage selection for all (non alcoholic, energy drinks, cold brew, cocktails, craft beer, etc.). Euchre night is so much fun. I love that you can bring your own food but that they also have great snacks including Field & Fire pretzels (so good). I highly recommend reserving a table in advance."
"We love board games and this was such a cool stop while we were in Grand Rapids. Lots of drink options and an amazing selection of games! They have snacks you can purchase, but you can also bring in your own food. I wish we had this kind of place in Detroit. A must come to hangout spot."
"We didn't order any food, but I wanted it to be a 5-star review. It's basic appetizers. You are allowed to bring in food with you as well. The drinks are very good. I ordered a seltzer, and you got to add a flavor to it. The Lavender is FANTASTIC! The service is great! Some of the best I've ever had. They have hundreds of games you can pick from to play. I believe he said something like 600+ games. There is a $5 cover charge We didn't know about, but it's more than worth it! This would be a perfect place to have a fun game night with friends. Bar prices are not bad either."
