"This store is disgusting.DON’T BUY MEAT AT OAKRIDGE MARKET IN FRASER! I purchased ground chuck on Wednesday, 02/14/24 and put it in the refrigerator planning to use it on Friday. By Friday morning it was pure gray and smelled horrible! The SELL BY DATE was 02/17/24 but by 02/16/24 it was already pure gray! I took it back to the store and the man in the office insisted I have a receipt. The Oakridge packaging was still on it but he would not take it back. I came home, could not find the receipt, so I called back and said can I exchange it. The gentleman who answered said sure. When I got to the store, the same man was in the office that I had talked to the first time (very rude) and said it wasn’t him who said I could exchange it and insisted I have the receipt. Then all of a sudden he changed his mind and went in the back and brought back a package of hamburger instead of ground chuck and I had to pay the difference. So, no shocker, this morning I look in the refrigerator and the package he gave me LAST NIGHT was already totally gray and smelled, so obviously all he did was go in the back, get a package of old meat, pour some blood on it, package it up and bring it out to me. NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP AT OAKRIDGE IN FRASER!!!!"
"The new management is fantastic. The employees are super friendly. Good prices, the chicken is packaged in reasonable amounts for a single person, it’s not in 3lb packages with two oversized breasts injected with water like Kroger. My only gripes are the green onions are soft and they have a limited cheese selection."
"I haven't been in this store in many years, but I have to say, they have so many things! Their sweet department is huge! Lots of press and cakes and donuts! Presently surprised!"
"Love this store! Close to my Aunt's house so when I visit from Indiana it's my go-to place. Courteous employees large aisles well lit. Big city store with small town values! Huge selections in hard to find products. Great meat too. Thanks for being there you are greatly appreciated!"
"Update from 2 mths ago! New owners and they are doing a great job on their layout! Shelves are stocked. Need work on pricing. See picture! Who in their right mind would pay that price for wings!"
