McGillivray Park

"Not to much in this space mostly open land but it's a nice space to let the dogs and kids get some energy out. We came here hoping to be able to see the fireworks but the tree's grew a bit to much and weren't able to see them from this location this year so we had to go down the street to the elementary school"

"Basketball court is run down. One net is made of wire and won't pass balls, it's basically useless. The other 2 nets have holes in them and one is rusted out. No line markings either."

"Small little park that sit right in front of twelve mile rd and sherry. Its perfect to bring your kids here. They have a basketball court, playground, swings for toddlers and infants, and a small softball field. Reminds me of my childhood days. Whats also nice is that this park have a little book stand box if you want to read while your kids are having fun."

"If you want to go to a park for a mud bath this is the place to be. The entire park was a giant swamp, including the baseball diamond. Maybe baseball has become a water sport since I was a kid. We left completely covered in mud. No wonder we never see anyone there. But it's cool for kids 3 and under."

"It is not the most interesting park, but there is lots of room for outdoor sports. It has a baseball field, basketball/tennis court, a small playground, a tiny library (it is just a box filled with books), a couple picnic tables, and a parking lot. I have seen people take their dogs there, but they let their dogs go on the picnic tables so the tables are not sanitary. I don't own a dog so I don't know a dog owners opinion on the park."
