"This park is a bit on the sparser side but still quite enjoyable. There is a wildlife center for the kiddos, plenty of river walks and paths to enjoy over and over. The butterfly walk is kept quite tidy during the typical buggy summer months making it not only walkable but very enjoyable."

"A great place for a walk in the woods with trails that run from a half mile to two and a half miles. The past a very well maintained and there is a nice river that runs past the trail. There is a Nature Center on site which has various exhibits for children of all ages. Restrooms are available inside the Center."

"Went on a guided wildflower walk and learned tons about the flowers and history of the land! The Nature Center was great for toddlers! They had hands on experiences and a couple turtles."

"Great place for a walk. The dogs really enjoy the river. We have found that galoshes work well in spring. All the frogs are out, they were SO loud, pretty cool to hear. We also saw an eagle, great place for bird watching."

"Initially I had only been to this part to use the equestrian trails since it's close to my house and the trails are pretty nice, especially riding along the river. On a whim one day, looking for a new place to bring the kids I decided to check out the nature center and boy was I impressed! Great little place up hang out with the kids. They have so much fun there. Also they offer guided tours for bord watching and such. It's become a regular destination for us."
