"Unlike large chain hardware and home improvement stores, it is a treat to have an old fashion hardware store in town. Where a friendly face is always present to help you as you walk in the door. It also has the feel and look of years gone by. Hard to explain in words and you have to walk in to understand. For example, immediately you will see a scale next to garbage cans filled with grass seed you scoop up and purchase by the pound. A blast from the past and the scale must be 100 years old.
