"I had not been to this location in about 2 years until recently. I used to hate the smell of the dairy section because it smelled like spoiled milk. Fortunately, it did not smell like spoiled milk this time. The worst parts of this store are : the store is VERY unorganized....salads were in 2 different aisles as well as yogurt and pop/soda. The liquor was in aisle 13, located in the middle of the store. The associate (D'ondrae?) was very nice & personable. Also, my aunt bought some Sargento cheese, but we couldn't find it. When we called the store back, the store was not helpful at all, and even questioned the form of payment that was used like that mattered. The best parts of the store were the marked down items like the salads and wine. Overall, I was disappointed in the organization of the store and most of the items were not on sale...the food was definitely not "for less" in my opinion"
"In the 15 items or less lane. Bad customer service and it was a man behind me and he was very ignorant and the cashier didn't even tell him sir you have to be patient or anything. She should have told him to be patient and she will be right with him... Now this is how you lose customers... I will not be back in Food 4 Less"
"Love all the variety they have. We drive from hobart to hammond cuz they have the best prices on meat. Good size bakery. Love the donuts and bagels. Produce could use some work. Most fruits and veggies don't look the freshest."
"Every time I go into this store, the deli department finds a reason not to serve people either they as shutting an hour before it is supposed to be closed or they claiming that they are short staffed. Whatever the reason is, it’s always a reason why they cannot serve people i am getting to the point now that I’m going to stop shopping there because if you set hours, then you should be open"
"The prices are decent, they have a lot of everything to choose from. They are always sweeping the floor and stocking shelves. Would I return to the store, well I don't live around here, I was visiting my boyfriend that lives in Hammond. I wish we had a store like this in my area. But we don't, and the closest one is a hour away. So would I suggest this store? Most definitely!"
