"I see bad reviews with this place but I've always had very pleasant encounters here. Office receptionist is always very friendly and helpful. The loader operator is also a great guy. You can't beat the selection that hallows has. So if you do go here start by killing them with kindness and it will go a long way."

"Horrible place. The woman in the front office was rude and condescending. I will never go back there again. When I walked in to tell her I needed some soil, she was extremely rude telling me I should go to the scale and not come in to tell her ( as if a new customer would have any idea of their process). There are no signs that state that. I told her how much I wanted, she said not to tell her to tell the men in the back. When I went back in to pay she was even more rude than the first time. Lost a first time customer. They should get someone to work there that likes people."

"Dishonest company. I called to get pricing on what seems like a simple order of sand delivery. The woman on the phone was a con woman. Trying to put me off until another day just to charge me more for the holiday. When I said I’d prefer today, she said she’d TRY to get me in and just was going to get off of the phone with me...didn’t even ask me any of my information. I said that I needed an appointment otherwise I’d be calling other companies to try to get someone out and she said “see, that’s why I won’t schedule you. Give me your charge information and then I will.” Absolutely disgusting. I would have gladly paid 3x what you quoted for the delivery had you been an honest, friendly, and hardworking company. It’s obvious you make your living off of fooling others. Please beware of this company...spend your money with those who don’t take advantage of their comnunity members."

"We wanted to create a "Beach" effect around our pool without the messiness of sand. Lisa at Hollow's recommend a small, fine stone called "Lucky Stone." It turned out to be a huge SUCCESS! It looks great, was very affordable and from a distance has the look of sand that we were trying to achieve. Excellent customer service and a wide variety of products to choose from. "Buyer Beware!! HOLLOWS LANDSCAPE attracts you with a good deal and then cheat on the delivered product! I ordered 15 yards of Gravel and they delivered only 10 yards. Then talking to Janice she is talking about how the ground was wet etc etc but the issue of cheating me of 5 yards she was trying to avoid. Then putting me on long hold after hold thinking I will go away. But finally she is like ok you can come and pick up 1 yard!?!! Wow!! DON'T Trust the Old lady. She conned me out of Five yards of Gravel!!! And they claim they have been in business for many years."
