The Sassy Chicken is a unique home goods store located at 77 East Division Street in Sparta, Michigan, United States. Our store specializes in primitive home decor, farmhouse decor, and painted furniture. As vintage vendors, we love scouring flea markets, barn sales, and estate sales to find chippy, original pieces or repurpose items into something new. We are proud vendors in two other stores in the greater Grand Rapids area: Reinspired Treasures on Eastern Ave SE and Pinky's Place on Alpine Ave NW. Serving the west Michigan market, especially Kent County, we are also part of a barn sale trail that spans Sparta, Cedar Springs, and Pierson, MI. Visit us in Byron Center, Comstock Park, and Alger Heights for a unique shopping experience.

"Oh my gosh, this place is AMAZING. The owners are absolutely a delight, and the husband truly knows the meaning of craftsmanship and shows it through his refurbishing of furniture pieces. I'm blown away at the details and care he puts into his pieces. I was lent a tarp to cover the piece of furniture I purchased, and he even fixed a loose handle on my trailer. I don't see this generosity often, and it showed me a lot about what type of business owners they are - I plan on continuously coming back to see what treasures they make and find :-)"
