Rosa Parks Circle is a popular tourist attraction located at 135 Monroe Center Street Northwest in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This park features an ice rink that is a beloved winter destination in the city. The 2023-24 ice skating season has come to an end, but the rink will be back next winter.
Visitors can enjoy ice skating at Rosa Parks Circle with admission that includes free skate rental. Reservations are required, with 50 spots available for each skating session. Each reservation allows up to 6 skaters and provides priority access before walk-up traffic during the reservation arrival window.
Skate times close 48 hours in advance, and additional dates will become available up to two weeks in advance. "Plan ahead few days ahead and reserve online. The line to wait for the ice time is long and should start sooner ahead. People skating were all nice and congenial. Great spot for pictures. I wish the rink was 3 x's the size. Mini figure skating shows could be put on by local clubs."
"This place was amazing during the holidays, the ice skating was really fun. My wife and I had a great time we haven't skated in over 20 years, but a great environment downtown Grand Rapids is really cool. we need this in Kalamazoo. The $4 per person fee includes skates if you don't have them. You have to make reservations to guarantee your spot, but if you don't, you can show up in person the first 20 people get in."
