"Nice spot to chill and take in everything the island has to offer. Douds market is across the street for your snacks and drinks, plus a little playground in the back corner hidden away for kids. Overall good experience"

"Great for kids to run around after a day of walking. There's a playground and plenty of space for a picnic or just relaxing. Restrooms are right across in the Visitor Center. We saw a free Shakespere play, too!"

"Great place to relax, enjoy a snack, or let the kids run around. You can drink alcohol until 10pm. Grab a snack and a beer from Douds Market next door. Restrooms across the street. Great view of the fort and marina."

"This is a very expansive, grassy area in front of the forty. You can read some historical information here. There are picnic tables. There is a nice little playground for children. There is also a geocache hidden near the playground. It would be a good spot for a picnic lunch."

"Nice little park with great views. The only thing keeping it from being the perfect place to relax is that they occasionally fire off the cannon at the fort on top of the hill."
