"Lamperts use to be okish, Wisconsin builders supply is trash. How in the hell can you not be open for a few hours at least on Saturday? I’ve just given up on getting lumber in town. Just have to go to Menards for everything anymore. I’d much rather support a local ish business but wbs is an absolutely terrible example of what a business should be. Maybe door county will get lucky and they’ll go under and we can finally have a real decent lumber yard that’s open on the weekends."

"Lamperts was great, WBS - not so much. They used to let me make a cut on my sheets so I could fit it in my vehicle. I guess customers without XL trucks just aren’t important to them anymore."

"Friday 9-8-2023 Walked in to get some plywood. Door was open, lights on inside. Old guy with glasses at the counter, very rudely tells me, “we’re closed, can’t you see the lights are off?” I replied, “well I didn’t know that, the door is open, usually I don’t judge whether a store is closed or not by a light bulb on or off.” And he only had rude things to say back, until he just put his head down and ignored me. That could have been 100% different outcome and I would have went back when they next opened. But now I will make sure to tell everyone not to spend their money there, due to that one man behind the counter. Just save your money and go to ace/ the co-op or head to Green Bay. There is a reason their shelves are as bare as they are."

"I was just there and bought 20 2x4's. Absolute garbage! I asked the guy in the yard to open a new pallets and he said he wouldn't because they were all that bad or worse! I'm usually not picky on 2x4's but every single one in the pallet either had a large chunk missing out of it or a complete edge was bark!! I then asked if they had premium and the guy in the yard said they don't carry those anymore!"

"I like this store but find that when I go in as a single woman no one offers to help me. When my husband is along, help comes quickly. They have a small, high quality selection of products, and I have been happy with all of my purchases."
