"This place was oustanding!!! Loved every moment staying here!!! Its so amazing how the lovely owner turned the old train depot into a great place to rest your eyes. 20 out of 10 ranking for sure. The owner was very sweet and could tell she wanted to make us happy with our stay. Will stay there again for sure!!!! Thank you Kristin you rock!!!!"

"Lovely place! You have a lovely view of the water and of Lighthouse Computers, they don’t have water beds Incase that was a deal breaker. Ps it’s pronounced Dee-Poe, made a real poor first impression with that one!"

"This was a last minute booking while sitting in Paradise watching the rain wash out snowmobile trails. I booked it years ago before google or the internet. To this day it remains one of the most magical vacations to date. We drove past Lake Superior and headed up the hill pulling a trailer with 4 sleds. Once we reached the top, I saw wonderfully preserved snow covered buildings near the depot; they made me feel as if I walked into a postcard from the early 1900s. The little community is complete with a lighthouse. Our room was well kept with shadows of the original depot within the interior architecture reminding us of it's history. It was plenty big for 3 adults and 2 children. The patio/deck off the back gives way to a beautiful lake, once used for logging. The trail is off the parking lot. I'm not sure how the trails are theses days but my next visit willl be during the summer or fall."
