"Owner has good days and bad days. Quite temperamental. Definitely a Hollywood personality. Shame. The guy worked construction and seems pretty knowledgeable. Problem: he gets bent out of shape when customers ask for advice. Not smart enough to realize that with his pricing, service would seem to be the only reason to deal with him. Inventory is low, a lot of onesy twosy. Out of a lot of items. He acts too busy to help customers even when there's no one in the store. Too much drama!"
"We needed help replacing the inner workings of a hanging, antique stained glass lamp. We looked everywhere (local hardware, DIY stores, online) and could find only parts of what we needed. We stopped in at Risto's for one last look before we gave up and they not only had all the parts needed to complete the lamp workings, but also put it all together for us! Excellent hardware store with all the parts and the service you need. They go above and beyond expectations."
