"This place is decently well stocked and clean so you can most likely find what you are looking for, however you have to pay attention because advanced is sometimes 10-30% higher priced than the other national chains. What really earned them the 2 star loss though is the customer service at this location, the last 2 times i was in here checkout took way longer than necessary, in one case it was almost 10 mins because one drawer wasn’t working and then the attendant couldn’t access the other drawer because the coworker was MIA, just seems to be a lack of urgency and that could be corporates attitude toward pay as well but you can definitely notice a difference whatever it is."

"Awful tried to return unused product purchased not even 2 weeks ago Can’t find receipt looked and came back 3 times found transaction on bank st statement with the stores name the location the date it was purchased and how much and it the serial number of the product and would not refund me because I did not have my receipt. On top of the fact the manager who’s name is Terrance would not get on the phone with me to speak with me because he was too busy, that’s not acceptable to me. I don’t think it’s professional. I already went there three times yesterday and it wasn’t gonna drive up there again. The other two gentlemen were very kind but it was out of their hands. The girl that found the product when I purchased it did not take my number in properly, so it didn’t go into their computer log that I purchased said I shouldn’t have to be punished for their mistake, and I still can’t believe the manager would not get on the phone with me , so I’m calling corporate over a $15 part it’s just so ridiculous and so unnecessary that I have to go this length and then wait for corporate to call me back. I recommend not to go there especially if you’re not sure if you’re gonna need the part as you’re getting the right part."

"Yesterday I made a trip to Advance Auto Parts on 13 and Utica and I must say: They’ve probably bought my loyalty for the next few shopping trips. I had decided to finally work on my Jeep’s exterior, so at least she can be a polished clunker, and was searching for some claybar. Home Depot has good prices, but their automotive section is real scant. Walmart has good prices and a good selection even, but the employees are clueless and you know what? I just feel wrong shopping for auto supplies there. Hastings is good but their open hours blow and there's no military discount. How did Advance Auto Parts win my heart? It’s this simple: Not only did I find the claybar, but the environment rocked. There were a couple young, fun, and skilled employees. Then there was a seasoned old mechanic, the kind that only a lifetime in Michigan can produce. They were all able to help me decide between the tried-and-true claybar, and the new synthetic stuff, while being fun people. I had never been there, but now I literally look forward to going back. Also, they have long hours that can accommodate me always needing a part at the worst times."
