"Sat for 5hrs to install tires and service i.s still not complete.... finally took it somewhere else to loosen lugs after the 4th try and I still have to return to get my tire put on..the 1 star is for the manager because he was really nice...but my rims are now ruined."

"Back in October, I took my suv in for the 2 oxygen sensors to be replaced and an oil change. At that time, I was satisfied and I really like the customer service. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, my car cut off when I was turning into my parking spot and I have been hearing knocking in my engine. 1200 miles after my visit, my car was low on oil engine fluid. So, I took it to another shop as there was no leak with my car. Basically, my oil was not changed and I was using the rest of my oil from my last service. I could have almost blew my engine because of this oversight. I will not be taking any of my cars back there. Which is sad as I thought they were trustworthy people and did good work. As I have been taking my cars there since I moved to Michigan almost 6 years ago, but now the quality is not as good. Such a shame"

"I do not recommend Monroe auto service reason I am saying this is because I had a went there to get my brakes checked because they were making noise. I was told that my brakes are good that they are trying to mount to my rotors they had removed all 4 of my tires rotated them without my permission. I was on the freeway My steering wheel started to shake, so I called Monroe Let them know I went back up there and the guy was like your tires are unbalanced. They need to be balanced and it’s a $30 fee per tire I told him I should not have to pay for that. I did not ask you to rotate my tires plus on top of that. I need an alignment after my tires are balanced so an alignment I was told is $120. so altogether $240. That I should fix because of them"

"It started out rough. I got there at 9a I was asked to come back in 1.5 hrs. Came back they pulled my car back took the tires off. I went in because of the maintenance light which was not on when I got there. Did have brake and turning signal light replaced. The second man that assisted me. Made sure we were on the same page about further work on my car., invited me back if the light comes on again. Cleaned off battery. I suggested an employee girlfriend should not be allowed in work area while their car was being serviced."

"Went to them with a wiring issue my rear lights weren't working. They got the work done within a day and a half. Upon picking it up I noticed that my check engine light was on and my car was making a subtle unfamiliar noise. I brushed it off thinking I'll call and ask them about it another day since the shop was already closed, also the lights were working great. The next day I try to commute to work my Transmission slipped and I was losing acceleration so I had to pull to the side of the road and get help off the freeway. I had to wait for the shop to reopen because it was labor day weekend and they were closed. I call and take it back and they had it for about a week. No calls other than asking me about my key... Turns out my engine won't turn and they thought the key had a security lock in it to prevent other keys from working (it does not). So not only was my transmission malfunctioning so is my engine and my battery will no longer hold a charge. I went there for just lights. They hold no responsibility for this and refuse to do any further work to fix this. They are blaming a shop I went to 6 months ago for a transmission replacement and they reccomended to go back to the other shop to fix this new issue. Had nothing wrong with it for 6 months until I went to Monro. Never again. These photos are when I had to pick it up, this is how they left my car..."
