"Not sure why all the odd negative reviews. I've been going here for over 3 years and have not had any issues. I switched from a previous dentist that was using old technology and couldn't get a filling to 'stick', then he burned my lip with acid trying to 'score the tooth to bond easier'. Long story short, there are terrible dentists and there are great dentists that take care of you and communicate well (text/email for apts). I have had a positive experience overall, found the staff to be pleasant, and easy to work with. I had one emergency that was a cracked molar and I was booked in to see the dentist within 3-4 days of my call. Very happy with the service."

"South Huron Dental appeared to be a good dentist office and I was excited about being able to patronize a minority owned business. At first glance the equipment appears to be state of the art and the staff was nice enough. But after several interactions with the Dr. Perkins it was evident that he was stacking his patients too close together and you will not receive quality care. I received an infection from this dentist and my son who was only 6 at his first visit was not instructed to not swallow the fluoride and became ill after his first visit causing it to be hard to get him to return to the dentist. The last incident was surrounding payment, I have ALWAYS paid my bills to the dentist in full but after an error the dentist made in billing resulted in a bill I refused to pay, they refused service to me and my family. I would not recommend this dentist but go right down the street to Dr. Colleen Bullards office for exceptional care!"

"These guys are friendly enough and appear to have some state of the art tech in there that looks all fancy, they'll make a computer record for your teeth and show you problems on screen, are friendly and have a good manner. They'll email and text you of appointments and up-sell you to all sorts of great products. But they can't do anything other than basic work - they can't even do a basic root canal in house, wouldn't call to set up an appointment for me (they made me call a place myself) and the place they recommended had almost a month back-log. WTH? I've never had a dentist send me out to get my own root canal???? And despite all the spam emails and texts, you can't get them to respond to one or return a phone call for crap. I've had problems that resulted in increasing tooth pain and sat waiting for days for them to respond to a text, email and phone call! Do not recommend!"
