Harbor Light Brewery is a charming food institution located at 516 Phoenix Street in South Haven, Michigan, United States. Our hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 4pm-9pm, Friday Noon-11pm, Saturday Noon-11pm (live music 6:00-9:00), and Sunday Noon-7pm (live music periodically). Named after the historic lighthouse in South Haven, Harbor Light Brewery offers a cozy atmosphere where you can enjoy delicious food and a variety of craft beers. Our sister site, Oakestown Brewery, can be found in Grandville, MI.
Join our Mug Club and become a member to enjoy discounts on pints, merchandise, early event notices, and more. The lighthouse in South Haven, which inspired our name, has a rich history dating back to 1873 when the original wooden tower was built by the United States Lighthouse Board. Although the lighthouse is now made of steel, it still retains the original roof from the Harbor Light.

"Stopped in while we were walking around town and waiting for our reservation. Good drinks and super chill environment. Had some live music, free popcorn, and games. We really enjoyed the hour we were in here."
"I stopped in for the first time in a couple years and I was happy to see things going well. The staff was friendly despite how busy things were with the ongoing Blueberry Festival, and I was still able to get a comfortable seat at the bar. All the beers I tried were solid, but the Omerta porter was my favorite by far. It wasn’t anything too fancy, but it was a standard style done just right. Harbor Light is definitely a good stop for a pint if you’re thirsty downtown South Haven."
"This is a nice spot downtown South Haven to grab a beer and there is no food. The guys behind the bar were very personable and fun to talk with. Maybe it was just me, but I was not too big a fan of the beer. For example, there was a mango wheat ale that tasted like artificial mango flavoring."
"Very much enjoyed our visit to Harbor Light Brewery today. The flight pours are generous, and there is a good selection of styles available. The vibe is great, and the service was super friendly, much better than usual."
"My husband loved their ciders and brews. His favorites were the Blue Haven and Red Haven. The atmosphere is great. They offer free popcorn which was delicious. They cleaned the space really well after any party left."
