"Bad customer experience!!! Called on $2 item that was not in my bag.She didn't even look told me in a nasty rude voice that it wasn't there and I took them. She didn't even look it was an automatic response straight away. With how much money I spent could have aleast looked for it. Pretty sure she didn't even give it to me. $2 incense sticks. Not sure if going back."
"This store is fantastic. I love just walking around and selecting from their vast array of curiosities and necessities. I would have given them 5 stars, but I recently had an interaction with an employee (not the cashier) who, while I was checking out, came from behind me to shake my items to check if I was stealing something by hiding it in the larger items. After she found nothing, she let me go about my business. Now. I'm assuming they must deal with shoplifters on occasion, so I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. But the interaction was quite strange and uncomfortable. Nevertheless, it won't stop me from shopping there in the future. They really are a great store regardless of this seemingly unconventional practice."
"Wow! They have way more stuff here than I expected. Cool store. BB guns in the soup aisle… I guess you can do some plinking after you eat your soup. Lots of hummingbird stuff and other bird accessories. Fishing equipment etc."
"Cute and fun place with unique goods, but zero customer service skills. Part of the experience of cute local places like this is the friendly atmosphere. Check out was an absolute NIGHTMARE, clogs up the door so you can’t even shop and the whole process they treat you like a criminal. I’m assuming they have an issue with thieving from the checkout process and the amount of times our receipt was checked. I wish they would find a new process where tickets were made and they had workers load the products then. Gives them protection and has good customer service. I’m sad because this is a place I would like to shop often but now, will never be returning after I was made feel like I was doing something wrong even though we spent $120. Guess I will just have to take the trip to whispering pines from now on."
