"Really 2/10. You’re not allowed products in the hair but they leave your scalp dry as a bone.. can be very slow/ long breaks depending on the stylist (10 minutes mid style..walk in). Not professional at all but I can tell they’re trying with that.. and an unprofessional relationship with the owner..but that’s neither here nor my business. Influx in price but not speed or quality... The braid down I will say is pretty standard quality tho and always has been. End result was a 5/10 I can tell she rushed but it was fixable. Should call this mf salon de mediocre. I won’t be coming back especially with these newer stylists."

"My daughter and I came in as a walk-in around 10 a.m., a little before the shop opened up. It wasn't busy nor crowded at all. We sat for almost an hour before one of us was serviced. My daughter was in and out of the chair and was pleased with her style. Until I, the parent asked the hairstylist the best way to wrap her hair. She looked at me funny and spoked in a low tone. Two hours later, I was called to get serviced, & as I sat in the chair to the left, when you walk in 2 seats down. The young lady was very kind as she braided my hair down. The owner came over and told her she had braided my hair wrong and the braids were too big. Also, she needed to take it down & start all over again. Around that time, it was almost around 2 pm. when she rebraided my hair. After that, I was told to go back in sit in the waiting area, and the stylist would call me, & this was 30 minutes later. As I sat in the chair, the stylist (owner) kept stopping to take breaks, answering the phone, stopping to take a drink, going to a backroom, and closing the door. She was very inconsiderate and needs time management. I was done around 4:30 and ran out of there!"

"I’ve actually been to Salon de Weave several times prior to me making this review but on this occasion I went to a different location ( highland park) to be seen. Kudos to I’ Yana everything was excellent! I booked for an appointment and was in and out and she was very thorough. Very professional and I would highly recommend this salon for your hair care and styling services."

"See edit below. So, I'm highly disappointed. Spent $135 plus tip and walked away with a less than desired hair style. Many tracks are showing at the top and back of my head plus when I asked the stylest if I needed another pack she said no. Granted the hair I purchased may have not been enough. I wouldn't of had a problem grabbing another pack from them as they sell bundles. I walked away less than satisfied and know I wasted my money. Now I have to find another place to fix the style she did. The fact that they even let me walk out without offering more hair or explaining that it will not look fool is sad. I try to support black owned businesses and small businesses, but this makes me think of never coming back. Edited They are so amazing. After I explained the issue they made necessary changes and had me looking right."

"I called Thursday morning to see if walk-in was a good idea. I was told yes it was a good time, so we came in. I brought my twin daughters here before as usual. We got here around 11:35am tell me why we’re still here (5:14pm) and they’re only on ( 1 ) of their heads… I can’t believe I sat here over 5 hours and counting! I’m only here this long cause they won’t give me my money back at this point I asked around 2:30pm for my money back only to be told about a return credit only. I’m sitting it out cause me bringing them back at this point is a joke. On top of the long waiting only 1 of the twins hair was pretty decent but the other one I’m done done for real! Truly unacceptable long wait time for my baby to get up with flying braids and melted braids! These were taken the very next day. I had to cool down so I posted recipes!"
