"I waited to write my review till I have had time to style my hair after it was done. Sometimes when people get their hair done and get home and wear it the way they normally do, the haircut is not what we had hoped for. (The one I had in September NOT here at this salon) So here we go, I love that I was able to have a consultation.(Nov.30,23)Then I was able to explain and show pictures of what I was hoping for and the end result after my hair gets to the length I am wanting. (My hair is already long) I had thyroid cancer and the medication/treatment did a number on my hair. Thin at the ends and texture. The consultation was important to me because I was able to take my time telling Jaclyn C. everything she may needed to know. I wanted to cover my grey, freshen up the ends and get long layers. I had been adding color to my hair myself, so we weren’t sure if coloring my hair would be the best. December 7,2023 I had my appointment with Jaclyn C. Oh my word! I absolutely love my hair! The color and the cut! My husband kept saying”I really like your hair.” Jaclyn was so amazing, she listened to what I wanted, she answered all my questions and explained to me how to achieve what I wanted to be able to do with my hair at home (when I have to style it) the product to use to help me. I am a ponytail wearing girl. So the grey in some places looked like bald spots. I have curled my hair with the correct length of curling iron and it looks great and I have wore my hair straightened and in a ponytail since I’ve had my hair done. I still am so in love with my hair. I can’t thank Jaclyn enough I’m so glad that I have found a place to go get my hair done and a wonderful person to do it. I really liked the mirrors at the station and the chairs/wash bowl area. I actually fit in them. Lol The bathroom was clean, really the whole place was clean and welcoming."

"Update: I was so excited to go in for dimensional color. Based on the reviews and my cut, I didn't think I could go wrong. I had pictures and explained what I was looking for, which was not a far reach from what I had (copper blond with grown out roots with greys). I explained that I wanted a champagne blonde with some baby lights around my crown to mask the regrowth. I had example pictures of the color I was wanting. It seemed like my hair was darker than I thought it would be but I couldn't see the end result well in the salon due to lighting. When I got to my car, I had a dark violet red brown on my roots and grey-ish highlights striped in my hair with a definite contrast highlight line all over. Some of the foils bled. I am not sure what happened but I had to go get a clarifying shampoo and wash my hair three times to take the harshness out. It isn't there yet but will have to keep washing to take the dark violet red out my hair. I hope this isn't the norm. I really really wanted to love this place. I booked another appointment before I went out to my car but will be cancelling it. I attached photos of what I asked for and what I got."
