Nails Bar

"Genuinely want this place to do well as a business in downtown Allen Park, but the work is not quality. The owners daughter has a bad attitude didn’t ask me how I wanted my nails shaped and filed way too rough the way she felt they should look. Then I got overcharged for a pedicure and gel removal. Haven’t been back since. It’s sad what nail salons are allowed to get away with. Please address the inconsistencies and DO BETTER It’s ironic how typical nail salons like nail bar run their business on greed trying to squeeze in as many clients as possible in the least amount of time. Maybe if more effort was put into the quality of the work, you would have more clients your business wouldn’t be hurting and your reviews would go up. Quality > quantity"

"Nails look absolutely terrible. Very inexperienced nail tech. Had to leave and still charged $60 and refused to take the nails off even after I was charged and paid. Won’t go back. Waste of time and money. What a disappointment."

"First time here today . Very clean and nice inside. Christine did my nails and I love them classy and neat . Also got a “sangria” pedicure which was done with orange peels it felt really good the only thing I wish he would’ve used a calluses foot file on my feet along with the pumice stone , but it’s no big deal. I’ll definitely be back."

"Decided to try them to support a local small business. Walked in, thought they were closed as no staff anywhere to be found. I finally find them in the back, one was sleeping. No big. They said they had an opening for a fill in. I pick my color, which was a beautiful cat eye. I always get cat eye, so I know how it’s supposed to look… what should have taken 45 minutes was nearly an hour and a half. The young man that did my nails was so rough. He hurt me numerous times. Telling him didn’t help, he just kept hurting me. Nicking my skin and repeatedly drilling to low through the acrylic where I could feel the burn on my actual nail. Finally, he finished hurting me and moved onto the polish. He couldn’t do it right and called another lady over. And even she didn’t do it right. I paid extra for cat the and they obviously don’t know how to use the magnets for the PROPER technique. I told them I wasn’t happy, as this is not cat eye. They laughed and the girl said “oh. They’re nice. Shiny. Bling bling” which is not what I wanted. I was charged $52 and even left a $10 cash tip. I’ll get my nails done elsewhere. I wouldn’t waste my time or money at this place."
