"Their prices are just as expensive as a regular clothing store. Honestly, this use to be my favorite thrift shop. I’ve spent years referring people here. Now I never go here because their new owner thinks this place is boujee or something. I came here yesterday and I am gonna flat out day, I’m not paying more for a used shirt when I can buy THE SAME ONES AT WALMART for less money. Almost forgot to add, there’s no dressing rooms Listen owner, lower your prices or you’re going to continue losing customers.."

"This mostly has clothes that are very overpriced. Everything I pulled out to look at had a ridiculous price on it. Several not designer jackets in the $30-$40 range. Kids cotton old navy shirt, $7, worn our pajama pants, $7."

"I visited this value world for the first time while in the area and was thoroughly impressed! I frequent some of the other south east Michigan locations and this one stood out to me on size, organization, and cleanliness. I felt like some pieces were more reasonably priced than what I’ve been seeing at other locations as well. I didn’t have time to go check out the whole store so I will definitely be back! "Well, another 50% off deal at Value World on 3/23/21. This time I went to the one in Pontiac. There wasn't a lot of people shopping when I arrived at 2pm. But by the time I checked out they seemed to be a bit busier. I was there about 1 1/2 hrs shopping. I have been to this location many times before. Sorry to say it's not my favorite one :( They seem to have the highest mark up at this location. It's a 2nd hand store, why don't they have prices that reflect that? I know they probably mark it up to accommodate the upcoming sales. I feel it's way overpriced for what you get when there is no coupon. Just my opinion. They don't have enough employees working while running the half off special. If they did, I didn't see anyone other than the cashier! I waited in line for 35 minutes. They had one cashier for checking out. I felt bad for her. While I was waiting, the manager was called up front. She walked past the entire line, helped the cashier with something then went in the back room/office. Omg! What is more important in the back than the MANY people in line? She was then called back up front for another issue with the cashier. Finally, she jumped on a register. All of us standing in line could not believe it! Why didn't she do that the first time! I will only go here during half off sales. Hopefully they will staff the store better with anticipation of the sale. I know some of the employees work hard, and they have been through a few management changes. But they still need managers that see the big picture. Hopefully soon!!"
