"Received a Christmas present late due to the debacle with travel over the holidays and tried to return a gift to Gap with the receipt and was told I was out of the window for returns and could get a clearance price of a few dollars or 20% of the cost. I understand there are rules but when I have a receipt if the original price paid and it's just passed the holidays I would expect at least store credit. Too bad. Stores wonder why everyone likes shopping at Amazon. Maybe these stores should look into Amazon's customer service. Most likely won't be back to Gap anytime soon due to this incident."
"I bought a few items for my baby and wanted to just cash out and leave. The store agent kept pressuring me to sign up for the gap card. She didn't ask either, she just said things like "let's get you sign up for the card, tell me your full name...". Then when I firmly denied that I won't get the card, she started pushing the gap loyalty rewards program on me. I asked if it will save me any money that day, she said she can get me a 10% discount right then if I sign up. So I started giving her my info. Once she signed me up, she said "oops, there's no 10% discount. But you will get your points and such, don't worry". It irritated me so much. The pushiness, the total misleading just to get my info. Super obnoxious and gross. Not gonna go here again."
