"I guess you can get your hair done here if it doesn't bother you that their pricing intentionally excludes Black women from the space. They charge based on texture and density. The tighter your curl pattern (read: the Blacker you are), the more you pay. I went to Moxie for a curly cut a few years ago. I can't remember who I worked with, but they did a great job. I went online today to book another appointment and realized that they charge different prices based on hair texture and density. That's wild and hella racist. I won't go back."
