"First time we go to Manal's salon and definitely the last. I wanted my 2 daughters to get a hair trim and loosen the tangles they had. I said to myself let me take them to a salon to avoid hurting their hair at home. The service was unacceptable. The owner was too tired because she was coloring hair all day. She actually said that with an attitude, as if I am asking her to give the girls a haircut for free. We are paying for the service at the end of the day. She started lecturing about how many times hair should be brushed a day and that a girl died due to hair knots and underlying nerve issues. I mean, who says that in front of an eight year old??? Then she started loosening the tangle using a comb without adding any form of liquid. She said this is how it should be done, on dry grounds. My daughter started crying because she was in pain, and this is when I took them and walked out. Ma'am, if you are tired, then don't take appointments and do a horrible job with your clients. Messed up customer service and worst salon ever! FYI from Google: "If you are struggling to detangle a bad knot, it is recommended to apply a moisturizing conditioner or mask to the problem area. From there, hold the knot between your fingers and, using an upwards motion, gently comb it through with a fine-tooth comb." Reply to your comment OWNER: Don't mention sanitary protocols because everyone in their mother knows how much I take care of my kids and their well-being. That's just your ruthless response to back up your lack of professionalism. You could've simply said "I can't detangle the hair" since obviously you don't know how, not make my daughter cry the 1st couple of minutes. Anyway if there's one thing I did wrong to them, it's taking them to your salon. Never again!"

"I have been dealing with hair loss for a while now. while I was getting my haircut this was the only topic the stylist wanted to talk about. she didn't tell what she was doing next. As hair fibers are not something I would use on the daily I would have preferred to have been told she was using it. I asked if my hair could handle bangs and she said yes and immediately cut them. She didn't confirm if I wanted them. I was just curious and was not planning on getting them. By the way no my hair can't handle bangs it makes the hair loss more apparent. I asked for a hair cut at my collarbones. she cut it so short it barely touches my shoulders."
