"My No 1 shopping store has unique and uncommon products. Products are long-lasting and very affordable. Well displayed items on all floors for ease of identification. Warm and caring staff are always ready to assist. Very clean and airy setting-up. Never a dull moment visiting, rather hopes and satisfaction are very high. Visit frequently for all seasons products. Perfect store."

"After fruitlessly ordering and returning five different orders online, I finally went to "the mall" to find a dress for an upcoming event. Despite the troubles and decline experienced by shopping malls in general, Twelve Oaks in Novi was bustling with shoppers - almost like it was in the late '80s in my Gen X teen years. Macy's in particular had a great selection of dresses, and after trying on 25+ dresses, I found two - both on sale, too. At the register, I was questioning the purchase of one as it had a snagged thread that I wasn't sure could be repaired. The sales person offered to call the on-site seamstress. Yes, I had no idea there were on site alterations, let alone an hour before closing on the weekend! Not only was she able to fix the stray threading, but she was a delightful and pleasant lady. We chatted while she worked her magic and I was reminded not only of my grandmother, mending things with pin cushions and threads when I was a child, but that sewing is a lost art. The whole experience reiterated the importance of the human experience as a shopper - seeing the fixtures and fabrics, trying things on for effect, helpful sales personnel, and personal service and interaction. Yes, online shopping is a convenience, but its one best left for some things other than clothing. And, there's still a place in our busy lives for the *experience of mall and department store shopping!"

"I went looking for a warm coat at Macy's, and I found just the one. It was pretty empty because I went early. A sales clerk helped me determine the coat for me and then had the rest of the day free. Now I have a coat for the weather this winter."

"Store has a good selection of merchandise. The wait time for a register was ridiculous. Waited over ten minutes when there was one person in front of me. Person at register was allowed to use multiple credit cards and check out items one at a time with at least term different bills. The store was a mess - it's incredibly sad to see how far this store has fallen."
