"I have seen so many of the wonderful items made even more wonderful by the talented women at The Cast Away Dreamers. They do their excellent work in a variety of areas, such as detailed bridal attire, stylish prom dresses, durable leather items, upgraded upholstery items, and family heirlooms. Their work on a family heirloom item greatly impressed me. It was a handmade, needlepoint, pillow cover, and the owner wanted a zipper put in. However, the original seams were slightly askew and had to be repositioned before that could be done correctly. The finished work of art looked as though the zipper had been professionally installed from day one, even though they had to search for new matching yarn to rework the side seams before installing a zipper. These women are artists with their needles, threads, and creative genius, always attending carefully to their customers' requests. Now this family can enjoy this treasured family heirloom for generations to come."
