"Most reviews rave about the pasties and bread - all worthy. But I’d like to rave about their lunch offerings as I just finished one here. The bowl of white bean sausage soup was out of this world - made in a tomato-broth with a Generous amount of lightly seasoned ground sausage. You can taste every ingredient - the mark of a great soup. It came with a sliced of fresh bread to mop up the bottom. I Also had a small arugula salad with a light vinaigrette dressing, radishes, and fresh paper thin cut slices of parm cheese. I drive 30 miles to come to Goshen for many reasons but one is to stop by Canele. My only concern is that only 3 of 13 tables were occupied. Understood, it was a drizzling gray January day but if Goshenites want to keep these local culinary treasures they need to get out and patronize them often! Bon apetit!"

"I dare you to try to find a better croissant in the tristate area. You won’t. Everything is amazing here. Soups and sandwiches are fresh and high quality. And everything baked will knock your socks off. Their cruffin is in its own league. I debated leaving this review because I don’t want to have to compete for these treasures."
