"I occasionally tag along with my wife when she goes shopping in downtown Petoskey. We stop in and browse at PEcado during many of those trips. I have a career background in product design and I am always impressed with this store, in its lineup of clothing and accessories, the store design itself, and especially the staff. From my perspective this shop has one of the most progressive and forward looking layouts, displays, and selections in northern Michigan, a smaller scale version of a higher end shop that you could find in the major cities. Likewise the owner and staff are friendly, patient, and professional. Also, I want to give them a shout out based on my first hand experience during the recent 2023 Petoskey Ladies Night Out. Many of the stores were simply horrible to the few guys who were there with their wives/partners. PEcado was one of the select few who were very friendly, kind, and welcoming to those men of which I was one. Based on my experience that evening, I know which stores I will be going to purchase my wife’s Christmas gifts from…PEcado is on that very short list."

"PEcado is a inspirational boutique located is beautiful Petoskey Michigan. Alona is the proprietor. My experience shopping with Alona is simply AMAZING!!! And the customer service is unbelievable OUTSTANDING!!! I do most of my shopping thru Tex messages. Alona will send me pictures of her latest collection. I recently had a formal wedding to attend Alona not only sent me several beautiful dress to select from. She went above and beyond to be certain I was thrilled with my dress selection. "I happened to stop in PEcado while on vacation in the area. The owner was amazing! She helped me find pieces that would fit my body, my tastes, and my work needs. It was so helpful, and super comfortable for me. She even overnight ordered a jacket to make it here before I left the area, so that I could try it on (and make the purchase), because I had seen a similar piece in store that was already sold. Overall, great experience and I look forward to supporting Alona's business next time I'm in town."
