"The new owners have done great things with the store! The customer service is great there, I am a women and I felt very comfortable there. Lots of choices!"
"During the pandemic shut-down, Sensual Arts Book Store was sold, and all the back-room equipment removed. The new owners reopened the front of the shop as a lingerie shop, and they denigrated inquisitive male customers. This place is now one shop of a chain of "Northern Romance" with shops in Traverse City, Cadillac, Williamsburg, Marquette, Petoskey, and Escanaba. They offer the trite and true merch but sell no DVDs or movies. The novelties are vanilla. Online competitors offer more variety and charge much less."
"Miss going there now in Florida. The booths and theaters are awesome. Even have private room to view from. Met some awesome men and women there. Just like most people from there they are very nice."
"Chris, this may not be the place to bring your wife if you feel she is being eyed, insulted, or unsafe. Have they ever had any sexual abuse problems. not that I heard. Some of the most prominent people are some of the most twisted individuals, seeing cops and whatnot is NO SUPRISE. They are what they are. If you don't like that don't visit, but they got there LLC and zoning and everything just like your family business. Don't take heirs"
"Went in with my wife and all of the men just stares at her the whole time while waiting to go jerk each other off in the back rooms and watch porn. Shame that this place it right in the middle of family businesses. Disgusting there. The city should oust a "business" like this to the outskirts of town. But I've seen some prominent people from the courts and some off duty cops. They sells adult sex toys as a front for having sexual acts in the movie rooms in the back."
