"They have the dumplings! There were specific dumplings that I love when I get Chinese the thick dough and the pork filling with the dipping sauce. Used to be able to get this kind steamed at many of the area Chinese takeouts. Many have since switched to having the cheap frozen microwave kind and I thought I would never get a good dumpling again. But Jade Garden has them! They are fried but that is a small difference I am willing to work with."
"This food can be really good. I will say the quality is hit and miss depending on who is cooking it. Also, they need to open up their dining room again. They closed it for Covid and never reopened it. For regular customers that have eaten here for years, this is very disappointing!"
"Have eaten here for years. Tonight my egg rolls had something undefineable on the inside. The chicken chop suey had cellophane noodles in it in place of something else. The cook should be reprimanded sending out this food. Food has definitely gone downhill."
"I used to eat here for years. It was very good prior covid. Since then every meal has degraded. Last night I ordered 3 items that were simply unexceptable. The wonton soup was broth and 5 wonton's. No meat no vegetables, no nothing. It's ashame it's come to this, but I can no longer support this resturant. They also never opened back up to inside dinning. Very sad."
"Hand down, the BEST Chinese food around Valparaiso. Their orange chicken is the best I’ve ever had. Their crab rangoons are AWESOME!! Moo shu pork- excellent! You really can’t go wrong. I hope this place never shuts down. I would be so sad lol"
