"Dr. Hammer was amazing! I called and they got me in the next day. My son was born a few weeks early and his latch was shallow, so he wasn’t getting enough milk. He was also sooo sleepy so he didn’t stay awake while nursing. I went once a week for about a month and they gave me a written plan each time. He was losing weight so I had to nurse him for 20 minutes, then pump and give him some in a bottle. This helped get his weight up. Each visit, things got better and after a few weeks he didn’t need the bottle of pumped breastmilk, and he was exclusively breastfeeding! Also, she prescribed a nipple cream for me when I first went in and that helped a lot. I had a great experience there and recommend Dr. Hammer to every new mom I talk to! A bonus is that each visit was covered by my insurance."
